The Season for Non Violence
January 30 – April 4, 2025
The Season for Nonviolence is an annual event established in 1998 by Arun Gandhi, the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, to honor the legacies of Mohandas Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. It spans 64 days, from January 30 to April 4, and aims to promote peace and nonviolence in communities through education and action. The movement encourages individuals to act with compassion, kindness, and consideration, fostering a culture of nonviolence.
